Diane recognized the necessity for a professional organization that represented the real needs of the growing profession of Home Watch.  Business owners asked for marketing support, continuing education, representation, a voice in the operations of the organization, and more.

The official launch of the IHWA scheduled for September 2017 was postponed when Hurricane Irma visited Southwest Florida.  However, it was announced when Diane started the IHWA sponsored Hurricane Home Watch Facebook Group, a place for all Home Watch providers to communicate during the disaster.  The 2018 official introduction welcomed the innovators who believe in the mission and became the IHWA Founding Members.

Diane entered the world of Home Watch in 2004 and was instrumental in developing systems and best practices for a growing company.  She later took a position as the Director of Home Watch and Concierge Services for a real estate company.  In 2006, she co-founded Second To None Services Home Watch.

Diane identified the need for training, and in the spring of 2008, and the very first Home Watch Training Program took place.  There was a lot of demand, and Your Home Watch Professionals was launched in 2009.  She has trained and consulted with individuals and companies throughout the US and Canada, helping them launch or grow their businesses.

The Home Watch Academy is the first eLearning training and resource platform designed specifically to meet the changing needs in this fast-growing profession.

Diane brings her wealth of experience, endless enthusiasm, and a clear vision for the future to the IHWA. Her advocacy efforts benefit the entire community of Home Watch, and she never misses an opportunity to share the message that Home Watch is an essential service for all seasonal homeowners.

Vincent (Vinny) has served in several leadership roles throughout his early job history and professional career. Some fields include the Restaurant and Hospitality Industry, Building Trades, Property Management, Public Safety and Emergency Services (Police, Fire and Emergency Medical Technician) and as a Business Owner.

He has received his formal education from Camden County College and Fairleigh Dickinson University, in Business Administration and Public Administration in New Jersey.

After working 20 years as a Police Officer and First Responder in New Jersey, Vinny and his wife, Kim, felt a need for a change of pace and enhanced quality of family life. They vacationed in Naples, FL for 18 years and fell in love with this paradise. After leaving Naples, the family would immediately look forward to returning to the beautiful scenery, terrific sub-tropical climate, and fabulous beaches. Vinny and Kim even got married there in 2009! Because Naples held such a special place in the hearts of Vinny, Kim, and their two beautiful daughters, Gianna and Mia, choosing Naples to raise the family was an easy decision.

After moving here, Vinny wanted to create Naples, Florida’s most elite Home Watch Service and wanted to bring some of his past life experiences from the Emergency Services world, along with previous jobs in building trades, property management, and his experience working and driving exotic vehicles altogether to form a business. The Home Watch Profession became increasingly intriguing to him, due to the large portion of Seasonal Homeowners (affectionately called Snow-Birds), so he decided to open Naples Premier Home Watch, LLC. His goal is to provide exceptional Home Watch and Concierge Services to all his clients.

Vinny is a Graduate of the Home Watch Training Program and has been trained, tried, and tested. While completing this training program and starting his business, he became a member of the International Home Watch Alliance (IHWA). Seeing the value of the IHWA became immediately apparent by showing him how it wishes to standardize the Home Watch Industry, which typically in the past has been done by “Neighbors Doing Favors” and “Hobbyist Home Watchers”. He further states, “The IHWA strives to create only true Home Watch Professionals and gives them the means to continuously learn new techniques in the field, best business practices, learn from seasoned business owners, and provides a sense of camaraderie and networking within the Alliance.” Having all of its members background checked, proven to be active business owners, filed within the state in which they operate in, and to be carrying all the proper levels of insurance, are some of the ways this is achieved.

Vinny shares Diane Pisani’s (Co-Founder of the IHWA) vision with the President, Samantha. He became Vice-President of the IHWA to help move the organization forward. Vinny says “He is a very motivated individual that has proven he has what it takes to excel and is extremely excited to bring his experience and insight to the table and is confident he will be a positive asset for the IHWA”. As Vice-President, he will assist the President with making all strategic decisions affecting the IHWA, some include continuing education, business development, successful board candidacy and implementing the infrastructure needed to grow. One of Vinny’s primary focuses will be on bringing in new members into the Alliance.

Larry Meek, is a graduate of the University of Mississippi then he attended the University of Mississippi, Graduate School of Business. He is a co-founder of Carefree Home Watch LLC a Fort Myers based start-up engaged in home watch and concierge services. He leads the company in all aspects of its operational development. He has gained over 40 years of experience having served as Vice President of North American Truck Rental Operations for Budget Rent a Car Corporation and then as the President and CEO of US Commercial Funding, a subsidiary of Celtic Investments, Inc. a publicly traded company. He later became a Florida Licensed Community Association Manager engaged in property management of nine (9) Homeowner and Condominium Association’s with over 1400 home owners. Meek successfully managed the operational disaster recovery of those communities in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. It was during this period of crisis that he and his co-founder saw first-hand the hardships that absentee owners of homes experienced with recovery efforts. Soon afterward the concept of utilizing his property management experience in tandem with skills acquired as angraduate of the Home Watch Training Program presented by Your Home Watch Professionals resulted in developing a home watch company based on providing exceptional service. He is a volunteer with the Lee County Emergency Management team and holds Certificates in Shelter Basics, Fundamentals and Shelter Management. He is a past Board of Director for Celtic Investments, Inc. and Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Promenade at the Forum Homeowners Association. He currently holds a State of Florida Community Association Manager License.

Todd B. Allen

Todd B. Allen

Attorney

Todd B. Allen focuses his practice in the areas of litigation, real estate, condominium and homeowners’ association representation.

Todd represented a significant number of homeowners facing foreclosure in Collier and Lee Counties. As a result of his work, Todd has been featured in the national media with articles in Fortune Magazine, USA Today, Housing Wire, Time Magazine, and the Huffington Post, to name a few. Todd has also appeared on MSNBC and Fox News to discuss his work and the foreclosure crisis. Todd was featured in a John Oliver segment on The Daily Show With Jon Stewart called “The Forecloser“.

Todd graduated from Brigham Young University in 2006 with a degree in political science. After obtaining his law degree, Todd became a member of the Florida Bar, the Collier County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association and was admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

Chris Cibula focuses his business in the areas of commercial risk management and insurance.  Chris works to adequately and fully protect all of the assets held by his clients. He is not in the business of writing an insurance policy and never talking to a client again. His objective is to correctly assess, identify and provide solutions for the risks client face as individuals/businesses as well as develop an ongoing interactive relationship.

Chris has been very involved in working with Home Watch companies and the insurance industry to work on the recognition of the Home Watch industry.

Chris graduated summa cum laude in 2010 from Florida State University with a degree in Risk Management and Insurance (Florida State was ranked 4th ranked for risk management among public institutions during his tenure)  In 2010, Chris was the sole senior student elected to represent the school at the annual RIMS conference in Boston.  Chris has 8 years of industry experience specializing in risk management and long term risk reduction for businesses of all types.  He is also a certified insurance expert witness in the state of Florida.

Sheryl Soukup

Sheryl Soukup is the President of Soukup Strategic Solutions, providing nonprofit organizations with expertise in the areas of fundraising and nonprofit management.  Soukup earned the designation CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) and is a registered Fundraising Consultant with the State of Florida. Soukup’s work as a consultant is concentrated in strategic planning, fundraising, marketing and board development.

Soukup was employed for fifteen years by nonprofits, ten of those years as the chief executive.  Soukup’s professional and volunteer experience in nonprofits includes a wide range of industries and disciplines, including academic and scientific research, affordable housing, child care, mentoring, tutoring and literacy programs, disability services, legal aid, community coalitions, community centers, churches, hospital and health clinics, schools and universities and now Home Watch.

Soukup has served in a variety of nonprofit leadership roles in Florida and Massachusetts, including service on boards and committees at the local and statewide level.

MARC HALCROW

MARC HALCROW

In this capacity Marc works with various stakeholder groups in support of the IHWA mission to Advocate, Educate, and Innovate within the Home Watch industry.

Halcrow has spent the past 10+ years in the certification and training arena having been involved with the establishment and support of various best practice competency models and organizations.

Marc has an MBA from The Rotterdam School of Management, The Netherlands and a bachelor’s degree in international finance and marketing from The American University, Washington, DC.

After traveling to all seven continents including Antarctica, Halcrow decided to reside in Naples, Florida where he has an established Home Watch business and has consulted with various high-end home builders to mature the Home Watch division of the organization.
